Requirements: Students MUST come to class wearing either socks or suede bottom dance shoes. Bare feet and leather, rubber, etc. bottom shoes are NOT allowed for class.
Cycled Salsa Classes: Next Cycle Begins
Week of January 27, 2024
Our salsa leveled classes take place over 6 week cycles. During those 6 weeks, each week’s salsa class teaches progressive material (both footwork and partnerwork) that builds upon what was taught in the prior class. This allows students to develop their skills in a controlled, structured environment that promotes mastery and maximizes growth.
Beginner Level 1 Pre-requisites: Attendance of 4+ Pre-Beginner Salsa classes; proficiency of Pre-Beginner Salsa material; attendance of Timing and Musicality Workshop

Dance On Time
This class will help students develop the proper listening skills to apply the right steps to timing exercises. Perfect timing is being able to let go and allow yourself to express your feelings through your movements, instead of trying to keep count of the beats in your head. When you achieve perfect timing, your dancing will appear relaxed and natural. It is important in every type of dance.
